Standard Operating Procedures
FIELD MANUAL
Phase 1: Deployment
Deploy from the Bureau van to the target location. Maintain radio contact at all times. Do not enter the structure alone.
- > Designate team roles before entry
- > Establish extraction point
- > Activate all monitoring equipment
- > Log entry time in field notebook
Phase 2: Reconnaissance
Map the location systematically. Identify hotspots with the EMF-9 scanner. Mark any anomalous readings on your tactical map.
- > Room-by-room sweep required
- > Record temperature differentials
- > Check for visual manifestations
- > Photograph evidence for Bureau records
Phase 3: Identification
Cross-reference gathered evidence against the Infernal Codex. Each entity type requires different neutralization protocols — misidentification is fatal.
- > Minimum 3 evidence types required
- > Compare with historical Bureau data
- > Confirm with all team members
- > Escalate if entity unknown
Phase 4: Neutralization
Execute the correct banishment protocol. Have extraction positioned. If the entity reaches physical form, abort mission immediately.
- > Prepare ritual components
- > Maintain perimeter security
- > Execute simultaneously with team
- > Confirm neutralization before extraction
Critical Warning — Field Note #402
"The radio static doesn't stop even when the batteries are removed. We are not alone in the brush. Do not trust the door at the end of the hall."
